atazar Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 Does anyone know what lua file I have to modify to reduce the brightness of the UH-1H fuselage? The brightness is excessive, does not fit reality. I leave two comparative captures. 1

leonardo_c Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 THis worked for me. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=221167&highlight=Skin It should definitely be fixed officially. I didn’t get any integrity check errors with this fix. 1 My DCS Campaigns - DOWNLOAD

I didn’t get any integrity check errors with this fix. Wow! You have solved the problem, I don't know how to thank you. I have noticed that this affects the projection of shadows on some objects like roofs of buildings, etc., but the improvement of the texture is so necessary that I prefer not to see shadows on the roofs than that frightening glow of the fuselage. atazar Posted September 3, 2019 Author Posted September 3, 2019 The result is spectacular, I want to share my last mission to see the result. Extraction of allied troops.
... Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 I'm not sure, but I think after two years they have corrected the fuselage brightness of the UH-1H military units. It may no longer be necessary to fix the ab-212_lods_json file after every update. https://launionescuadron.webnode.es/

Also, should you get the feeling that it was fixed, simply check the date on the original file (provided you used something like OvGME and didn't delete the original file). If that file's date isn't very recent (like last patch recent) it wasn't fixed. 1 "[...] because, basically, in this day and age, if you get to the merge and no one's died - it's not good for anybody." - Keith 'Okie' Nance "Nun siegt mal schön!" - Theodor Heuss, September 1958 "Nobody has any intention of building a wall." - Walter Ulbricht, June 1961 "Russia has no plans to invade either Ukraine or any other country." - Vladimir Chizhov, Russia's ambassador to the EU, January 2022
