I’ve noticed on both the NTTR & PG maps that when taking off/flying low etc the shrubs/bushes etc only load progressively and it’s really bugging me! It doesn’t happen with Caucasus.

I think I’ve tried the most obvious settings to try and sort it but it’s still the same.

Any ideas or is it just one of those things?

When flying Normandy i can literally see the line as the terrain is rendering when below a certain altitude. It completely destroys any immersion. Not sure if it is related to work on VR optimizing but it needs a good seeing to.

Yeah hopefully ED are aware of the issue. It did it when I was using the monitor, before I got the Rift. Strange how it’s only on PG & NTTR, and Normandy. I’ve tried everything but to no avail.

It's particularly awful in PG. I have ground clutter and trees both at maximum settings and the bushes still render in a 200m zone around the aircraft.

I really do hope they can sort it. Weird how it doesn’t do it on Caucasus...

I am getting exactly same, been like that since day 1 release of NTTR as well as day 1 on PG.

Really annoying visual disturbance, although all settings maxed out.

I don't fly that much in the Caucasus, but I noticed similar behaviour, only with the shadows. Shadows render for objects (buildings, trees) and then, once you fly closer to these objects, their shadows kind of recede to reveal smaller shadow behind the original one.

Well at least I know it’s not just me, was thinking I’d got something set wrong but seems that’s not the case. Let’s hope they can sort this. It’s not a major issue but an annoying one nonetheless!

Noticed it in Caucasus tonight when flying at tree line in the Viggen. A line draws 200m or so ahead of you as if the textures are being filtered as you progress through the scenery. Seems fairly recent to me that this has begun, maybe only three updates previous from memory.

I can only hope the visual pain is worth it in the end as it usually is with this lot lets be honest

I’ve just noticed it too on Caucasus. High altitude in the Hornet and looking down you can sometimes see the trees rendering. Yeah definitely a recent thing this.
