I just feel the effects are much larger when I see videos in real life compare With the effects in the game. I dont mean the graphic but the damage a bomb and bullets make. Spessially the visual fysic effects the bullets from WW2 planes in dogfights and groundattacks. LOL sorry for my bad English :smilewink:

Fri13 Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 The bomb explosions look amazingly good, but after a while they start all to look too similar as it is the same "sand thrown directly upwards". There is no smoke, there is no flash of flames, there is no dynamic dust cloud that will spread/travel on ground. And the special effect is IMHO too big for what there is blowing. And it is way too big when it is about a bullets or rockets! Firing a minigun in UH-1H on ground is like firing rockets or HEI-T 30mm shells all over the places. You lose track of your target as the special effect covers the whole target. And then other effects like trajectories on cannon shells, small arms fire etc is just not right. It would be nicer to just see the muzzle flashes than the trajectories of infantry. Simply toning the effects down, adding new wind affected dust clouds and spread etc would go far.
