Anywho, here is my Air Combat USA part 1:

Awesome flight, I bet that was fun! How many g's did you end up pulling? I would love to fight against someone like that. When I got my flight, max g's I pulled was 6.5 and on the break over the runway we pulled 3.5, which felt like nothing. Once again, I'm sure that was a chance in a life time experience.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Yeah, they are Air Combat USA, same company but different guys. They do a BUNCH of different places with different instructors. We had NAVY and Air force TOP GUN instructors.

We pulled about 6Gs and did a total of about 17 fights/maneuvers, so we were both exhausted by the end of it all. I'l tell you right now, nobody knows what Gs are until you ACTUALLY hit beyond 4. Holy sh*t...

I thought you were out at 9:20 minutes into the your video :music_whistling: Everyone deals with g's differently, I didn't think 4 g's were to bad, 6 g's was starting to get rough. After my flight, I went back to me room and took a 3 hour nap......and I never take naps!

Lol, yeah I know at 9:20 it looks bad, but the truth is, that to twist my entire upper body under those Gs and my head and neck back to look at a target that is actually on the top back of my canopy is not ideal.

Since the seats did not have head rests, at a 90degree left turn, just lookign straight back and supporting my head with my neck muscles was a LOT easier.

I'm happy to say that I only lost visual of him once throughout those 3 flights. Which was during our first flight maneuver practice and he was coming in from directly below me. The paint scheme blended in with the dark shadows against the ground and you really coudln't make him out till he got really close. The SUN helped neither him or me. We talked about that and we both said that when we entered the Sun, we were already so close to each other (Within a 1000 feet of our maneuvers) that the planes outline was bigger than the Sun and it made no difference. If anything, it helped to see better due to it for that split second haahah.

When I first saw it, I thought you went nighty night, then I heard what was going on. Pulling g's does make it hard to move around if you aren't prepared for it.

@Marcos, those pictures with the B-52, where they taken within the last 2 weeks?

I'm going to guess 'probably' given where and how recently they've appeared. I didn't take them myself.

I think the weapon may be a JSOW-C (IIR seeker) in retrospect??

They are old, I posted them a long time ago on this thread. I think I got them from the Misawa website.

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.

Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
