Ross,

Awesome

Wags,

Thanks, nice find

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.

Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..

EDIT: Vid removed, Demokreator posted earlier :)

Do you guys think it makes sense to post vids from channels like AYRBOYD?

Why do you say that?

I think it make sense mate, because not everyone subscribed to this awesome channel.:)

Makes sense indeed. I post vids from big channels too sometimes but I wondered if many people going through the topic have that channel already subscribed. For a subscriber it could be mildly annoying to see the same vids posted here. :) That was my only concern.

I removed the vid from my post simply because it was the same vid Demokrator posted minutes earlier!

January 19 1991 In Iraq. Last photographic frame of a Mig-29's combat camera film recovered after the war.

What's the location of the camera on the airframe?

Sparrow.

Theres an article associated with this picture that would explain more, but it glorifies the event a little bit so I refrained to post it.

sure? fins looks to me, too "blocky", but then again, it might be from exposion-time etc.

HUD

This ain't true...no cameras whatsoever standard on Iraqi Fulcrums of that period...might be a private (pilot's) camcorder but no such thing as HUD recorder with MiG-29 9.12

That pilot had a bad day

Nope, here is a AIM-9

Here is a AIM-7

That's what I would say also, the tail fins aren't a AIM-9 and the front fins are too big and look like the AIM-7
