Rudel_chw Posted December 23, 2023 Posted December 23, 2023 This next video may appear boring on a first glance, as there are no drone shoots, nor detail takes of the ship … but it is somehow a really really interesting one, and now I get why the film scene at "Battleship" showing the New Jersey fighting aliens, could never happen in real life even if aliens did exist: worth the 11 min watch, trust me 1 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB

GeneralDynamics Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 (edited) Just want to mention one thing regarding the CH-46D video that makes it all the more impressive - a Marine commented that the ship is probably travelling at around 18 KTs, so not only is the pilot swinging around and hovering to pick up the load, but he is also matching the speed of the ship at the same time! He said they watched those pilots do that all day long during Desert Storm. The F-22 video speaks for itself... as usual:-) Edited March 29, 2024 by GeneralDynamics System Specs: Win 10 x64 Pro, ASUS Maximus X Formula, i9-9900K @ 4.7 GHz, 32GB Corsair Dominator Platinum 3200 MHz, NZXT Kraken X73 AIO Cooler, Titan X Pascal GPU, EVGA Supernova 1000W P2 PSU, C: 1TB Samsung 960 Pro m.2 PCIe SSD, D: 1TB Samsung 850 Pro SATA SSD, HT Omega Claro PCIe 7.1 Sound, Denon AVR-1709 7.1 Receiver, 46" Sharp Aquos Quattron Main Screen, 27" Acer T272HL TouchScreen + Helios, TrackIR 5, ThrustMaster HOTAS Warthog, Crosswinds pedals, SimShaker
