Boeing AH-64 Apache

The AH 64 Apache is a must in my opinion to offset the Blackshark. Else, at least the AH-1 Cobra. Since you already have the Huey the Cobra would be a no brainer.

I can't believe that you did not get it. Now I see the problem! It's not only ED but the community also.

If you have been flying Helos 95%+ of the time and faces all the stupid bugs that lead to you being killed after hours flying to the OP, only than you will understand where we are coming from.

 

 

little tip for you: Use ACM and you will spot/lock-on all helos in the game from behind buildings, now please enjoy it.

what do you mean? the Mi24 is officially in development, and will be followed by the AH1F, and the Ka50 is currently going through a texture remodel.

This is really amusing. Depending on who you talk to, theres always a victim that perceives their niche within a niche hobby to be neglected. There are the opforce fans who complain ED doesnt care for Eastern aviation, due to lack of any blueforce counterparts, then theres the aspiring bomber pilots who accuse ED of neglecting strategic aircraft and being too focused on fighters , of course others who wished F4E phantom was prioritized instead of the F16, along with the piston jocks who want more ww2 aircraft, and scenarios. Now there are the rotorheads, who complain they don't have every single chopper under the sun to play with, and that mission designers for MP ( who aren't associated with ED) don't make appropriate enough maps for them. to survive in a contested envrionment with player controlled fixed wing aircraft. Everyone seems to want something different.

 

These projects were well underway for years.... and one of those jets is done by a 3rd party not by ED. HEATblur choices are fixed wing aircraft. they shouldnt have to been forced to do a rotary aircraft instead of the tomcat unless they legitimately wanted to.

 

Fixed wing jets are admittedly appear more appealing to the masses, and arguably should hold higher priority given the situation that was a few years earlier. What DCS has lacked for the longest time are iconic multi mission fighters from the 4th generation which has finalled been adressed with F18 for naval aviation, and F16 for land based air forces, but that doesn't mean rotary are ignored.

 

Stop making this all about yourself and paint yourself as a victim of a developer that you perceive doesn't care about rotaries. IF Ed didnt care about rotaries they would not have any helicopter projects currently underway or pending or invest time in remaking the exiting module like the Ka50.

 

Let ED actually finish current projects that happen to be 2 major fixed wing aircraft ( and mind you 2 very important ones for blueforce) before complaining about helicopters. Because Id like to see my Hornet and Viper actually come out of EA before the year 3000, instead of having Ed release other projects into EA like (mi24 or AH1F) without having finished the current projects.

 

This is coming from someone who would actually want fly proper modern attack helo like the Ah64., but hey I guess its impossible to please everyone and thier sub communities when you lack the resources of a AAA game studio.

 

 

IN any case lets get back on track because this is a AH64 wish list thread, not " whine about rotary content being neglected" thread
