GrEaSeLiTeNiN Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Something about the F-16 pit is just off. The UFC kind of gets in the way and is large while the MFDs are tucked too far in and too small to read. My TrackIR which worked well in the F-18 doesn't work well in the F-16. I find I can't move in close enough to read the MFDs. flavnet Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Yes. Is the same for me. Unfortunately the MFDs cannot be read well. If I get too close my TrackIR goes crazy (the optimal angle is disturbed).
Shimmergloom667 Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 The MFDs are spot-on compared to the ones in a real Viper. They are small in RL and are basically above your knees. I don't have issues leaning in with TrackIR, everything is clearly visible for me. Maybe you need tweak your curves in TrackIR a bit more? i7 - 9700K | 32 GB DDR4 3200 | RTX 2080 | VKB Gunfighter Mk II /w MCG Pro | Virpil T-50CM2 Throttle | TrackIR 5 | VKB Mk. Moafuleum Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Maybe you need tweak your curves in TrackIR a bit more? Probably this. I agree it is difficult to read sometimes, especially the FCR because it also is a biut cluttered with the big OSB button labels and the hardly visible blue lines (for instance the ownship bulseye reading which is not readable without zooming). The TIR works just fine though

GrEaSeLiTeNiN Posted October 5, 2019 Author Posted October 5, 2019 Solved - I forgot that under Controls/Axis Assign, to set the last option 'Zoom View' to use TrackIR_Z axis. (Clear the 'Head Tracker: Forward/Backward' option.) This is what I did for the F-18 also. Now it's ok, and I can look closely at the F-16 MFDs. Revelation Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Also when we get the ability to change the contrast, brightness, etc... this should make them easier to read. Win 10 Pro 64Bit | 49" UWHD AOC 5120x1440p | AMD 5900x | 64Gb DDR4 | RX 6900XT
