Weegie Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 I watched "Mover's" Video on his opinion of the module whiich seemed pretty positive. One comment piqued my interest though, as I'm trying to learn how to refuel the Viper He said he'd normally bring up the Bingo page, now at first I thought this would be an MFD page but haven't found one yet (No I have not read the manual fully, I'm a man for goodness sake, try it first then read the manual) Anyway I found Bingo can be set on the DED. So the question is - The Bingo page not only tells you the Bingo setting but also total fuel quantity, however in my jet the total fuel quantity value is static. I assume it's only refreshed when I bring up the page. I'm ASS-uming in the real jet though it's a dynamic value, as that would make a lot of sense for Mover to want it, so as he could watch his fuel quantity increase without having to look down all the time at the gauges I have a hard enough time connecting let alone stay on station & then look at the gauge too. If this is the case it would be niice if it was implemented Thoughts anybody?
robohunterx Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 Pretty sure it's implemented, you might have unlimited fuel turned on in either the game settings or the melissiok settings. It has worked for me. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
Majik Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 It's definitely implemented, and dynamic. Also, in case you didn't know, you can bring up the DED on HUD with a switch on the right side panel to make reading it even easier. -
Harker Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 The BINGO page does give the fuel quantity in real time. As the previous poster said, make sure that you're not using unlimited fuel etc. Cross-check with the analog fuel gauge in the cockpit. The vCVW-17 is looking for Hornet and Tomcat pilots and RIOs. Deano87 Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 Yeah sounds like you have unlimited fuel. My bingo page total is dynamic as one would expect. Weegie Posted November 1, 2019 Author Posted November 1, 2019 As usual you guys were right I had switched it on when I was trying to get a refueller in a mission to stay on station for a long time and forgot about it It would also explain why the refueller hooks up and then about a second later tells me transfer complete. I thought that would have been overidden if you set a low quantity in the mission editor, obviously not Turned off now Thank you for the help, what am I like!!!!!!
Eldur Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 It's definitely implemented, and dynamic. Also, in case you didn't know, you can bring up the DED on HUD with a switch on the right side panel to make reading it even easier. If it really was easier. The HUD is very hard to read as opposed to the DED. And I definately have seen that value changing live while refueling on the ground.
Theodore42 Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 If it really was easier. The HUD is very hard to read as opposed to the DED. The first time I used that feature I spent 60 seconds trying to figure out how it could be useful to have information duplicated LITERALLY right next to itself. Maybe it would be useful if you are putting the HUD on an MFD and need to keep track of fuel. Anyway, I concluded it was one of those engineer things. Or maybe someone was coming in under budget.

Handy while refueling. You can confirm fuel flow from tanker and see if you’re actually topped off or not.
