great simulation of a fire front, not bad if someone build a "air firefighting" mod on DCS.

The video was made from about 5 missions saves that are similar but edited so I could break it up to make the replays shorter and easier to handle

Thank you, I have been discussing with a few others on how it would be possible to create a aerial fire fighting mod and what it should contain and how we could model a moving fire and aerial water/retardant drops, cos it would be a really good style to add to DCS

If ED would allow us to turn off big /fire smoke then it would be very easy to script this

You can turn it off (by removing static) , the problem is: how?

 

The "weapon" water that hits static "fire" should trigger his "damage".

 

If you think that fire can also be put it down by bombs this should make life easier.

Maybe there is possibility to make another fire static with damage enabled.

 

Problem is , there is no water weapon in DCS.
