Capn kamikaze Posted November 14, 2019 Author Posted November 14, 2019 The reason why is kind of secret, but there is a good reason. Is it possible?
Ramrod_45 Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 Try this, locate the Server LUA in your DCS config folder. Make a copy as a backup. Now open the original using Notepad++. Look at line 6 which should read CameraTerrainRestriction = true. Alter the value to false, save and run DCS. You should now be able to drop through the terrain. Use Lctrl + F11 to enable free camera movement. If you have a mod enabler you can use that.
fagulha Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 What Ramrod_45 wrote. Beware that you must repeat the process after each update. I use it since i have VR for walking outside the plane without terrain restriction. Best regards, F. Nealius Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 Place the modified SERVER.lua file into your Saved Games, Config/View folder and you will not have to constantly re-do it every time there's an update.
Gabi_tro Posted February 21, 2024 Posted February 21, 2024 server.lua is not in cofig any more. Any idea how to find it?
