Wolf359
I know this is a passive vs active comparison, but is there really ANY difference that I would notice in performance, etc? Svsmokey
Thing is , the majority of us don't have the ideal lighting conditions needed for the trackhat clip to work properly . Windows , sun position and room lighting in front of the camera (including well to the side if far enough from the camera) all detract from its performance . The pro-clip , as Buzz said , works much better for most , and is well worth the extra $35 or so . 9700k @ stock , Aorus Pro Z390 wifi , 32gb 3200 mhz CL16 , 1tb EVO 970 , MSI RX 6800XT Gaming X TRIO , Seasonic Prime 850w Gold , Coolermaster H500m , Noctua NH-D15S , CH Pro throttle and T50CM2/WarBrD base on Foxxmounts , CH pedals , Reverb G2v2

Wolf359
Follow up on clip vs pro. There is definitely a difference in tracking; I experienced very limited movement when looking at the side panels in the cockpit when using the hat clip, and absolutely no issues when using the pro clip. I was in the F16 and couldn't look down/back to set nav without TrackIR freaking out, when I was wearing the hat clip.
