[CANT REPRODUCE]Unable to turn up cockpit backlights and DED to max lights with mouse

I had mentioned this in another thread but I'm not sure that it has been noticed so I'll start a fresh thread.

Console, instrument panel and DED lights are unable to turned up to 100% by clicking and dragging the mouse or using the mouse wheel.

To reproduce start hot on the ground or in the air. Set any of these functions to a hotas rotary knob and turn up all the way. I'm using an X55. If you look at the knob in the cockpit you'll see its turned all the way up. (roughly 5 o'clock.)

Now, try and turn up any of these three knobs with your mouse and you'll notice that they only make it to the 3 o'clock position (roughly 80%) brightness.

Another user has confirmed this issue on their end so I'm quite confident it isn't an issue on my end.

Using the most current open beta.

Just tried it, and working fine here. What happens if you un-assign from the X55?
Same result. The only reason I noticed this was because I reassigned my rotaries from controlling the panel lights to controlling the HMD knob and left the second rotary empty. Once I started using the mouse to operate the knobs I found the weren't turning all the way up.

I observe the same behavior as I already said in the other thread.

Maximum rotating knob position reached with mouse vs axis binding.

The console floodlight knob is not affected.

+1 this is exactly what I'm experiencing.

Hi Norm, after watching Spudknockers last video I noticed when he turns up his lights they also stop around 80%. Is it possible you're testing with an internal build that has been updated beyond the current OB?

DCS BIOS confirms lights only go to 80% (value 52428 )

I can set them to 100% with DCS BIOS though (value 65535 ).

The light rotaries bug remains after the last update. Is it still considered as non existant and therefore will never be fixed?

If you are experiencing this issue, could you record a track so we would be able to look and reproduce?
