This is very much normal and possible for many jets when light enough. The supercruise is a feature when you can do that in full combat loadout.

Some of last updates of DCS make changes into MiG-29 physics:

(1) pitch damping with FC3 MiG-29 has changed, pitch amping has been increased at low speeds, you can feel it every landing,

(2) unnatural coupling of roll rate with yaw rate has been adjusted.

 

ED has not informed us of it, but I suppose it is a flight model validation with new MiG-29 FF upcoming release.
