Tertiary air hatch

Hi Cobra,

 

 

are there plans for correct functionality of the tertiary air hatch?

According to my knowledge there was talk about it a very long time ago in the forum, but it seems it got lost somehow.

Makes the engine create more thrust at low speeds, it also makes the reverser work.

At high speeds however it does the opposite, it will decrease the thrust created. Which is why it's closes when:

 

• M>0.65
• Landing gear is up
• Throttle at or infront of Z2 ignition position - ≥Z2
• Inlet seal in open

 

It will open back up when one or more of the above requirements are NOT met.

Viggen should get a little more love and attention from HB. I think if they put the whole team's effort into Viggen (like ED into Apache), they could fix all its bugs and add new features so they would get it out of early access.

Yeah I’d love to see Heatblur go back and revamp the Viggen like RAZBAM did with the M2000C
