Murey2
With the new Ka-50 coming out soon. Hopefully it will have more to do as a scout and more to do in general. I would like to see the Su-25T able to use Datalink to share it with the Ka-50 and vice versa. ED you need to fix it now so the Ka-50 will be ready for the future to have the ability to coop with other crafts in general... But for now Ka-50 and Su-25T have to be able to enjoy a better time together! Please ED we have been speaking about this for long time now. So all the Ka-50 and Su-25T fans shout out for that! Murey2
Another thing. It will be amazing for Ka-50s to be able to receive Datalink targets from ground forces like a JTAC of something..... Also a Good feature for the Combined Arms... SFAL
the su25t in game has no DL ability. there is no russian module apart the ka50 that can share data. the ka50 is not a scout....it needs certain battlefield circumtances to be reslised to operate. you can add target coordinates via the abris read from the JTAC

Isegrim
Actually Ka-50 is classified as a heavy reconnaissance helicopter. Where did you get this information from? The KA-50 was developed as an pure Attack Helicopter. Often sources mix informations like that because the KA-52 can be used as a scout. Smokin Hole
"Lasing" is mentioned in the title. As was explained to me when I begged for this (10 YEARS AGO!), the Ka50's laser is more like a rangefinder. The beam is sufficient to be "ridden" by a pair of Vikhrs but not to mark targets for or precisely guide off-beam weapons.

Smokin Hole
True. It does. You've called me out. It's been years since I have flown anything RU. I just have a vague recollection of a similar discussion when BS first came out (before DCS, even).
Murey2
The simple fact that should have been in the game from the beginning is the Ka-50 lasing for Kh-25L carried by Su-25T. That what I mean by lasing!!!
