The sea shelf objects can be moved to the "dead" state by a massive explosion, but show not visible damage nor fire or smoke and show no visible damage. In this track I've set triggers to explode object two sea shelf objects, one of each type, with explosion volume 10,000.

 

 

 

By the way, I am starting to think that the explosion volume in this trigger may correlate to kilograms of explosive, is that correct?

 

 

Anyway it would be nice to be able to drop bombs on these objects and destroy them.

Hello from the future. 5 years have passed, but nothing has changed. It's even gotten worse.
I made 10 consecutive explosions with a force of 100,000 units (run script). But the object continues to be alive.
Also. If you set an object to any amount of life through a trigger, for example 100. Then it can randomly self-destruct. And if after self-destruction, the bot has a waypoint for landing, then passing the previous point before landing, this 100% crashes the game or dedicated server.

Also, if you place cargo on the helipad, the bot makes many attempts to pick up the cargo. But to no avail. Sometimes it even hits the tower and is destroyed (after 10-20 attempts to pick up the cargo).

I'll see if I can reproduce this issue.

1. One of the cases where a helicopter damages its blades.
2. The crash occurs as soon as the bot enters the 3rd route point between Senaki and Kutaisi.

It is almost impossible to force a bot to pick up cargo. The best option is to create a 0 waypoint above the cargo at a height of 5-10 m and a speed of 0. Then the bot immediately picks up the cargo. If the bot makes a cold start or a hot start, it could attach the cargo on the ground. But instead it takes off, makes a circle and tries to hover over the cargo without success.

  1. Case fixed in the next core udpate. Helicopters won't struggle anymore to pick up cargos on platforms.

Crash easily reproduced: it happens when a helicopter is told to Refuel/rearm at a platform. Reported to devs. 👍

There seems to be an issue with your platform. I copied-pasted it next ot it and asked the Chinook to land, and there is no more crash. Weird.

@Mikeyfry Found it, it's the combination of your SET AI LIFE script to the platform unit and the order given to the Chinook to land on this same platform.

Yes, I tried to destroy her with "SET AI LIFE script". I thought the platform had more than 100 hit points and tried to reduce their number in this way. With this script, if any projectile or missile hits the platform, the "object destroyed" trigger will be launched.
So, the object is destroyed twice:
1. when use "SET AI LIFE" - In the mission objective window, I set up the scoring for destroying the platform. When I launch the mission, these points are awarded in the server web interface.
2. when shooting at it.

Thanks! I would like to remind you that there are 3 platforms: 2 in the sea "shelf category" and 1 in the "construction" category.
There is also a problem not related to platforms. If the bot is given the task of transporting several cargo on a cable (take one cargo, take it to the point. Return, take the second... Etc.). In the best case, it will transport 2, and when it hangs over 3, it will remain hanging over it forever.
