Thx a lot, Trigger!!

Maybe I found the mistake

I already used the sensor and the magnets in the way you told me, but the card didn´t read anything (no movement of the axes cross in the setup window)

So perhaps the magnets aren´t strong enough, I use round BaFe magnets with a remanence of 0.1 T. I suppose Your Neodyme ones have a remanence of 1.0 or even higher, right?

I´ll order some new ones and retry it...

Thank you, Steven

I really don't think the magnets aren't strong enough.. Did you try setting the magnet up like this?

I have no experience with your controller card. But is there maybe some software setup we're missing? AND naturally you should check your hall effect sencor with a multimeter. They have a tendency to bust if you are unlucky and connect the wires wrong at first..!

The "Two Magnet setup" I described earlier is like this:

Yes, with your pit, have pictures of it? It looks nice so far, latest pic I saw where from Nov 2010.

I hope some forum necromancy is OK here. PeterP mentioned in another thread that TriggerHappy had a parametric CAD (SolidWorks, I think) model of the KA-50 cyclic grip:

Does anyone still reading this thread have a copy of the model? I can't find it earlier in the thread, and a lot of TriggerHappy's attachments/links seem to be stale. I'm interested in modifying it to be easily 3d-printable -- I have access to a Dimension 3d printer through my grad program -- and making my own stick grip, probably with the guts from a Sidewinder FFB2 or similar stick.

Are you sure you don't mean the Cyclic Mold Stonehard?

Here is the 1:1 JPG file for rough cutting the foam plug:

And here is the same in PDF format (printers generally don't consider scale when printing JPG files):

And some pics from when I made the plug for my Cyclic:

Trigger, do you have the dimensions of the topbox?

Hello Trigger,

Can you advise me in hacking dual Microsoft sidewinder ff 2 ?.

TriggerHappy's final approach to Force Trim was solenoid based. PeterP is the guy with the expertise on doing the dual MS FFB2.

There's no place like 127.0.0.1
