[RESOLVED]DCS 2.5.6 Hangs At 10% Loading

I can't get the software to boot all the way up. It hangs at 10% on the initial splash screen. I waited 5 minutes and killed it. So here is the troubleshooting I did:

 

- I erased the shader cache again. No change.

- I had Voice Attack and TrackIR 5 running - Stopped VA - no change.

- Stopped TrackIR - no change.

- Stopped both - no change.

- Tried starting from Updater and then directly from app - no change

- Shut down my PC and booted up again - no change

 

The strange thing is that it booted all the way up this morning, the first time I opened the game. I closed it so I could start TrackIR and now nothing.

Yup I disabled Voice Attack, did a repair and got in

Most users with this issue are viacom users removing it for now will help

 

Do you mean uninstall it?

Just don't run it .

This says it's resolved but it isn't really, is it? Is there a way to get VoiceAttack with VIACOM Pro to work with DCS World yet? I just tried with the public beta update from 27MAY20 and it still hangs at 10%.

No its not resolved, just a work around. Hope they can figure it out so everything works as before. Get super carrier and now this starts up. Time to change my setup back to sim car racing and see if they nut this out.

It is the BETA version after all, or do others using the release version have the same problem.

 

Its definitely to do with the coms that's causing the problem.

If i do a repair of my install then run DCS and it starts, get into a mission ( cold start on the new super carrier) my coms list keeps popping up every few seconds, and yes I am using Voice attack. The joys of third party programs in a ever more complicated DCS program. The super carrier is really cool by the way, nice job.

Good afternoon with the stable version 2.5.6 the problem continues. If you start Vaicom and then start DCS the load does not exceed 10% and it stays there. If you do not start Vaicom if it finishes loading DCS.

We need a solution or we should stop using Vaicom, the latter does not seem normal and ED must fix it.
