Airhunter Posted February 17, 2020 Posted February 17, 2020 I noticed that when flying certain aircraft like the Viggen or Su-27, JF-17 etc. (haven't tested them all) and getting behind a Tomcat, Hornet or Eagle, all of those aircraft seem to be dragging a huge smoke plume behind them in military power, kinda like the Mig-29. Easily reproducible in SP.
Binary Posted February 17, 2020 Posted February 17, 2020 We've observed the same (for the F18 ). Some observations: - Doesn't seem to matter a lot whether one is in IDLE, MIL or BURNER - Sometimes suddenly disappears for some seconds (without really changing the throttle significantly) Author of Scratchpad, DATIS, and maintainer of DCS-gRPC.

ouky1991 Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 It seems that each time you trigger spawn, you will get the smoke. I have it in my own editor missions where I know the location of trigers that spawn enemy AI. It might be tied to EW radar, I'm not sure if it happens exactly at the moment of the spawn or when you get EW sound (both in f-14 and f-18.)
