moggel Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 (edited) Sometimes, typically a few minutes after T/O, pressing the COMMS menu key have no effect. No menu appearns and, so, radio comms in offlne mode is unavailable. [EDIT] Just finished a flight and as I parked I could suddenly open the COMMS menu again. draconus Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 Sounds like you try to use ground crew comms in the air. You should find the binding for the radio instead. Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted February 20, 2020 ED Team Posted February 20, 2020 yes try using the push to talk or mic switch for the aircraft, the communication menu can only be used on the ground. thanks Forum rules - DCS Crashing? moggel Posted February 23, 2020 Author Posted February 23, 2020 Silly me. I had unbound the PTT buttons as I was using VAICOM PRO up until 2.5.6 (that broke it) forgot to rebind. Thanks i7-3930K CPU @ 3.20GHz; 16Gb DDR3; GeForce GTX 1070; Windows 10; TM Warthog HOTAS
