gabridelli Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 Sorry guys, but after a long dogfight without damage, i have the pitch ladder in position showed in the attached picture. Is correct or is a bug? ( Latest Open Beta ) Thanks Gabriele
eatthis Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 ive had that a few times, i just guesed id overstressed the airframe 7700k @5ghz, 32gb 3200mhz ram, 2080ti, nvme drives, valve index vr
r4y30n Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 Yup, looks like you borked the INS, definitely a feature not a bug. With the latest patch that’s gonna tilt your radar search patterns, too.
QuiGon Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 So is a feature? Yes, the INS status lights in the rear pit should indicate a failure. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
draconus Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 If you went over 6-8Gs it can happen More like over 10. We can't see from the OP screenshot but I'm sure the max achieved needle on the G-meter was all the way right. Xenovia Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 If you went over 6-8Gs it can happen More like 11~12G's. Iv'e sustained 9G's in the Tomcat plenty of times, the onboard systems hold up just fine. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Tomcatter87 Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 The plane captain wants to have a word with you. You better run ;) "Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward. For there you have been, and there you will always long to return."
