Mr. Big.Biggs Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 Is there a quasi easy way to map the F keys to a Hotas? I use the Virpil and it has 8 square push buttons that would work great and prevent the need to continually lean forward in vr to find my keyboard. I have heard of joystick gremlin, but know nothing about it. Will this work or is there an easier way? Can u just map the F keys and leave the rest to the standard DCS binding process? Any help would be great. Thanks I9 (5Ghz turbo)2080ti 64Gb 3200 ram. 3 drives. A sata 2tb storage and 2 M.2 drives. 1 is 1tb, 1 is 500gb. Valve Index, Virpil t50 cm2 stick, t50 base and v3 throttle w mini stick. MFG crosswind pedals.

If you just want all the view buttons in your Hotas then you can do that within the DCS commands menu Joystick gremlin is one of the easiest programs to use, but there may be a recommended program that came with your hotas In joystick gremlin you simply select the joystick button and then remap it to a keyboard button. Then whenever that profile is active pressing that joystick button is the same as pressing that keyboard button. It’s easy and no frills
ricktoberfest Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 I would recommend that too, but I wasn’t sure if Vipryl had their own software.

Ant0ine Posted April 13, 2020 Posted April 13, 2020 (edited) You can do that also in Virpil's own software. Then you don't need to have Gremlin running side by side. Keep things simple. Really? We can bind keyboard shortcut using the Virpil Software now? :sly: Edited April 13, 2020 by Ant0ine
