While we do look at the crash logs, we still have to try and reproduce the crash.

 

If you have track replays from these crashes we do need to see them, short ones are better, if the track is to large it maybe difficult to use, especially from dynamically scripted servers.

Nothing obvious stands out for me in the log, just seems to stop.

 

Try the usual Daniel, cleanup and repair remove unofficial mods if any, make sure drivers and windows are up to date.

delete your metashader2 and fxo folder in saved games dcs

Aaaand another crash, this time probably related to waypoint-logic. Thank god this time DCS-crash-reporter most likely managed to transmit the crash to ED. (would be nice to get a "crash-data submitted succesfully"-message btw...)

You really should check in the RAZBAM subforum if anyone else is having the same crashes with the Harrier.

And if you're the only one with this issue, try removing AV-8B from the module manager (bin icon) and then reinstall it.

what, why, no, ED or Razbam programmers have to check the crashlog for what exactly causes the crash and fix that. (assuming the crashlog always provides the exact error message(s) that caused the crash)

In case you don't know already, each third party module has it's own functions, and they're stored in a dll file. So when a dcs.log says: "it's name-a-third-party-aircraft-dll's fault", it means it's the third party devs' job to identify the source of the crash.

 

That's why I invite you to submit your crashlog to RAZBAM, because it's now the third or fourth crash you post that points towards the AV-8B dll. If you want a quick fix, just ask RAZBAM. My 50 cent.

Interesting. I thought ED would automatically forward it to the affected 3rd party in such cases, as game crashes are by far the worst things in DCS. But yeah, I also posted it in Razbam section yesterday.:
