Habu_69 Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 I am experiencing SteamVR crashes in about half of my missions. Happens in both SP and MP very early in mission or while joining. HP Reverb. DCS OB 2.5.6.49515, but experienced same behavior in previous patch. DCS Log records ACCESS VIOLATION, yada yada. Anyone have any solutions to try? I may reread War and Peace until DCS get their sh_t together.

I have a solution, stop trying beta software and roll back to 2.5.5. You are correct, of course, but I had no luck identifying a solution through google, so thought someone here might have something to offer. The other suggestion to revert back to 2.5.5 would certainly improve stability and FPS, at the expense of eliminating most all multiplayer servers, since most all have patched to 2.5.6.

Which version of SteamVR are you using.. also do yo use WMR for SteamVR?? the recent patches to SteamVR Fixed the crashes of steamvr I was getting.. If you are on the latest SteamVR snd not the beta SteamVR try verifing the files in SteamVR..
