Taking of from CVN-70

How do you take of with an Su-33 from the CVN-70? I made a complete fool of myself lately on the RAF-server wasting 5 Su-33's for the blue side :cry:

Easy... before take off just get enough speed and use full flaps.

go to the back of the carrier then take off from there... and use flaps of course

Anybody had succes in launching from cat 4, as mentioned in an earlier thread? I tried it a couple of times, nothing happened. Does this really work in single player, or was it just some lag spike in multiplayer?

Well, when I was trying on RAF-server, someone respawned over me and I had the impression he launched with catapult! I saw a steam trail behind him, and he seemd to have good acceleration.

Yeah, for some reason when i fly with the tomcatters , cat 4 always launches me i come off the deck at 250+

Thanks, but I don't do online flying no more. I was talking about single player, though I admit I only tried it not more than 5 times, but with no avail. Maybe it's because i didn't let the Vinnie move (S=0)?

Concur with all of the above- Do they have the carrier(s) in motion? Might be worth a request.
