SPRD not working?

I've equipped the SPRD and activated both the SPO/RATO switches on the right panel, but they refuse to ignite. They will not automatically ignite over 150kph, and the button under the yellow cover on the center dash (which is supposedly manual ignition) jettisons my outboard fuel tanks instead. Are they currently broken?

The correct button is at the left of the main panel in a black cover.

Ah that thing. Couldn't see it underneath that huge plunger-style switch. But shouldn't they be automatically igniting at 150kph?

Correct. When your speed reaches about 120-150kmh, the SPRD will engage automatically. You can engage it manually using the CV91 button, however, this is not recommended.

 

Are you using afterburner during takeoff?

Yes, full afterburner on takeoff.

Just tested, works fine for me, using a cold start aircraft.

Just tested again, and they are working but I get zero feedback when they fire. The only way I can tell is by switching to an external view. I don't hear them fire from inside the cockpit, I don't see any noticeable acceleration, and I don't see any increase in takeoff performance, even in a clean jet.

Double check that they are even loaded, most times I have to rearm 2x.

As far as sounds go I've heard them fire and sometimes dont hear a thing.

Same with gear, sometimes silent, sometimes I swear Ivan is sledgehammering them into place.
