In our squad we have human carrier ATCs, LSOs etc.

We don't use AI ATC. But in order to turn the Landing Deck-lights on, we have to ask for it 2 times in the comm-menu, while flying, which is PITA during Case III (on current Stennis).

Will we have a simple ability on the SC to control Landing Deck-lights on-off? (maybe key-command or from LSO station)?

Yes this would be a very welcomed feature since I am also in a virtual squad and the deck lighting issue is a problem. Last night we had a lot of bolters and two crashes with no lights.lol The lights do not work at all for us and haven't since the last OB update.

Presumably with the airboss station coming later you'll be able to manually control the lights.

Unless you’re in a mission solo. It would be more than a bit annoying to have to hop out of the plane after every pass to turn the lights back on and then spawn into another jet and go through all the setup again to fly 1 more pass, then hop out and turn the lights back on etc etc etc.
