Would be great !

DCS needs Russian and European birds.

Each time i try russian birds on FC3 it is just... so frustrating.

Typhoon and MIG23 comming will be a real fresh air for DCS.

Agree. I think one of strongest positives of DCS World is the diversity in air-frames and the technology/avionics simulated in them. I thoroughly enjoy the western aircraft but DCS really does need some full fidelity eastern aircraft to round out a thorough experience. Hopefully one day.

A Mig-31 variant would be a dream machine.

IMO it won't be implemented any time soon because:

1) it's russian = "less profitable" as ED sees it

2) it has pesa, something we don't have on anything in dcs yet.

You left out the most important and main reason: Strict licensing controls by the Russian government. Plus ED is prohibited to develop a Russian module because its a Russian Company. See this podcast at 10:00 forward for more details.

New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, HP Reverb (formermly CV1)

Old-N-busted: i7 4720HQ ~3.5GHZ, +32GB DDR3 + Nvidia GTX980m (4GB VRAM) :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, Rift CV1 (yes really).

Huh, but still russian and still in service

Yeah I for one don't buy the whole government interference angle people spit out, and I've seen the wags vid and he never says its the govt. I think licensing is probably the hurdle, since there are a ton of docs out there for the older mig29's for example.
