Vino Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 I can't get away from the arresting wire after landing. No matter what I do, hook up, down, the wire won't escape. I know I'm not getting something.
NeilWillis Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 When you catch a wire go to full power until you come to a stop, then close the throttle. The hook will drag you backwards at first, then when you come to a stop, raise the hook, fold your wings and taxi out of the landing box.
Shotsx74 Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 This is now an issue with the latest release. Full power, hook up. Wire keep dragging you back and never releases from the hook.
speed-of-heat Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 The wire does seem “stickier” than with previous releases... randomTOTEN Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 I believe you should also wait until the HOOK warning light illuminates before attempting retraction. I'll have to check if it's changed.
