I just went through the aerial gunnery tutorial, and when talking about adjusting the range on the K-14 gunsight, the narrator suggests mapping the throttle twist grip to your HOTAS, but there is no such mapping available: Only the K-14 manual lever is mappable.

“Target distance” under the k-14 section of the controls.

^ It does the same thing, however, does it not? Honest question, I haven't played with it much yet.

There are two axes for the K-14 gun sight:

K-14 Range to target

K-14 Target span

Moving the slider bound to "K-14 Range to target" turns the twist grip on the throttle and the "Range" wheel on the K-14. If you do not see an axis binding for "K-14 Range to target" I suspect you have selected "Game" instead of "Sim".

Ah so twisting the throttle grip also moves the K-14 sight as well? I thought they were disconnected, and I was wondering if the throttle grip adjustment had more "play," as mapping the K-14 adjustments don't allow for fine tuning.

^ It does. The grip works like in Mustang - it's connected to the gunsight ranging knob by a Bowden cable. Just checked, it's properly animated and controlled by "Target distance" command like kengou mentioned above.
