Taxiway Problem for the T

I know its a know issue but, is there anyone who has a list of airports that have the problem with the Su 25 T undercart getting damaged on the taxiway,:cry:I saw some poor guy in his own server falling foul of this problem the other night, as I fly the T I have nothing but sympathy for any one who falls foul of the blasted bug, also is there a way of spawning or assigning the T to a area not affected.

Su-25T has advanced ground modelling and the reason it gets broken wheel/blown tire when taxing is that some taxiways and parking tarmac textures are not aligned and there's a gap between them so when you taxi across it at some angle you blow the tire. To avoid this when you first start taxing make sure you cross from parking area to taxiway at right angle. This was you won't get a blown tire.

And don't go to fast, I have found that (in my case anyway) if I go to fast, like 15 to 20KPH while going from parking ramp to taxiwayone of the tire can blow or NWS or NLG gets damaged.

I also had this issue but learned how to move and now i run on taxi up to 60 km\h on corners even 40 ^^. Practice and you will be able to be Ferrari :E

Krasnodar and Guadata have those gaps as far as I remember, might be few more though, and to second question... pick different aircraft slot when in game... maybe you'll spawn in different area :)

You will always spawn at the same spot (pre-designed spot per air base) if you dont make some workaround. Olivier Beaumont in his excellent detailed maps of our air bases has called those military ramp.

The only way to get to spawn elsewhere is to put static objects (other aircraft for ex.) on those spots. You will get to spawn where you desire by adding more and more static aircraft.

 

Sometimes also, if you put a strong wind that would require you to takeoff in the opposite direction than what the game usually assigns you, you will spawn in a spot at the other end of the complex.

 

Of course, all this applies to single player. If you play online, you will get whatever result of whatever the mission designer has put in terms of other aircraft taking off and static objects..
