gavilan_cl Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 Hello For my group and mehave been exrpeicnes hard difficultis trying to takeoff with crosswind. F-16CM manual state that on a dry runway RCR=23, the F-16CM could take off with a max crosswind component of 25 kts. For us this is impossible to do this and keep a safe takeoff rolling over the runway. Is this an issued? I read It was reported last year, but... Thnaks Salute Gavilan
=Panther= Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 Probably a result of https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=262823 which the community fixed with a simple tweak to a lua, but then everything went encrypted. So we wait until someone at ED decides to fix this bug. Furiz Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 I thought it was way too much until I saw this video, Fa18 at 30 to 40 knot crosswind, it is not the viper but you see the effect on a lightweight fighter jet. I think in DCS then should tone it down a bit.

Furiz Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 (edited) Watching that video, I think we take longer to get to the take off speed, they even have 2 bags. Edited June 17, 2020 by Furiz
