tobi Posted July 16, 2020 Posted July 16, 2020 Hi there is something wrong with the animations of humans. Infantry stumbles when walking, switches from walking to running at the same speed and animation stops suddenly when he stops. Reloading animations are present in MV but not used in DCS. They just stop shooting and do nothing. The insurgent lifts one feet in the air when he is shooting: infantryanimations.trk
... Posted July 22, 2020 Posted July 22, 2020 Totally agree. I applied for a realistic animated infantry in current NATO uniforms two years ago and no one listened to me. I have seen American soldiers die tripping over logs. The current body-to-ground advance animation is hilarious. https://launionescuadron.webnode.es/
Gierasimov Posted July 22, 2020 Posted July 22, 2020 This Hi there is something wrong with the animations of humans. Not something, everything. I doubt it will be addressed anytime soon as well. I know there are plans to re-use technology invested in SC deck crew and apply these to soldiers. I would like DCS Beef to happen before DCS Cannon Fodder though! ... Posted July 23, 2020 Posted July 23, 2020 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhDgdfHAg3U&feature=youtu.be Here I show a sequence of the assault on an enemy camp to carry out the extraction of a group of prisoners. We observe that the assault group advances body to ground in a way that completely breaks the realism and after the assault, one of the soldiers dies stumbling over a log. https://launionescuadron.webnode.es/
