This game crashes constantly now & it's usually when DCS is loading it completely freezes & locks up & the only way to get out is to sign out of Win. And now more so lately the game is crashing on launch from my Carrier within quite an extensive mission in PG I built & in the middle of testing. When game crashes, which is about %50 of the time after start of mission it's always as my Hornet is catapulted from the deck, virtually at the exact same place every time. I have no mods & I have changed nothing in regards to my system from my usual flying & mission building I do before all this started happening. I thought it may have been Nvidia latest update but I rolled back to previous version but still, same old crashing same old freezing on game start load. I can only think that its something to do with DCS latest update & I've attached my latest log. This is getting beyond a joke, I love DCS , always will & I am a faithful supporter but this constant problem is making it impossible to enjoy my experience here. I'm looking for an answer & just something that'll fix this for me. I'm kinda pretty annoyed about it atm, hope you understand.

Change your windows swap/pagefile from 4gb to 16gb or 32gb might help a bit, other than that, looks like video driver problem to me.

Appreciate very much

Hi

the crash is a display driver crash,

Is the gpu overclocked or getting hot?

Thanks BIGNEWY very much appreciate reply & suggestion man. I just deleted all my FXO files & Metashaders2 files on the advice from good friend DCS wingman Gierasimov. Just flew near 2 hours in the mission was crashing in with no probs. I never radically OC GPU or CPU but I've always used this setting pictured & I always monitor my temps. Thank again BN & hope it settles down now.

This is a recent weird one..

Hi

And check this one out.. only started a week or two ago & it's weird. White out at mission start, those pics are my AC on Super Carrier , from in Pit & Ext view. Seen anything like this before? I never have. it's like the image is trying to be rendered but just doesn't quite make it & it also happened in ME in the little box that your AC is displayed in for changing skins etc.

Good to hear you are ok now,

the brightness looks odd, what is your gamma setting at?

That image was the funky one..

Thanks BN, much appreciated here. NO no that image is the crazy weirdo one that I was talkin bout. Not normal & not sure why it happens but it hasn't occurred today or yest but I did untick Vsync & did a spring clean of drives. My gamma always set to 1.1, actually all my settings have been this way since my PC build 3 years ago now. One side track thing I wanted to ask you about BN & that is I noticed you mentioned in some thread something about Win 10 Update Vers 2004, I'm d'loading it now & was wondering is there anything I need to be aware of in relation to DCS?

Regarding the windows update, you may find you will need to login to DCS again, and I would recommend checking and applying your graphics settings in the NVIDIA control panel. Other than that you should be fine.
