"DECLARING AN EMERGENCY"

 

 

Tower then grants you priority landing and puts all other A/C behind you in the landing que.

The ATC in dcs is pish at the moment anyway, I'd wait till the suposed rework of the ATC.

I know, it's a shame. As much as they want us to have a realistic environment, they seem to be basing their product (probably more what their professional customers want) ie aircraft systems development integration rather than a decent AI ATC and eye candy such as clouds and - all of which would make it much more immersive to us as general public.

I'd like to see an update one day, where only the core systems like ATC, weather etc are worked on. I agree, the guts are what is missing and killing immersion. I'm no pilot but I would think that there is way more comms heard in the PG that you can hear on the radio.

"HOLD SHORT" (of the active runway) is another good ATC command to have.  This alerts you of possible incoming traffic on the runway you are going to cross or take off from.
