having an issue where I can no longer bore-sight the TGP. Instead they changed it to cursor zero, How am I supposed to bore-sight now?

That was always just a temp workaround. Now you SHOULD be able to use snowplow (SP on OSB 8), but it seems to be bugged at the moment.

I asked the same questions. But according to ED, TMS down should be cursor zero. So what we had (zero to boresight) was not realistic I guess.

This brings up a problem. I understand Viper is in EA but a lot of the features are WIP or not working the way as they supposed to work in RL. Therefore as we fly the EA jet we learn some stuff the wrong way. This also creates bad habits.

With zero to boresight gone, now we just have to adapt to cursor zero with TMS down and try to use the snowplow. Unfortunately, like Falcon said, SP is a little buggy at the moment.

I can't get F-16 targeting system (as displayed in HUD) to sync with targeting pod. CZ works great for the TGP, but target mark in HUD is at some complete other place. This makes CCRP bombing impossible.

If it's not the TGP, you should open a specific bug report for this.

From preliminary testing yesterday, TGP not lining up with HUD TD box for CCRP happens when you input a new steerpoint but don't cycle away from and back to the steerpoint. That's the work around I'm doing for now to get it to register in the system.

I'm not sure how it works with just going from snowplow to a point track for a CCRP delivery. Lots to figure out and sort out what may be bugged, or what may be working right. It's a good step forward though.

Anyone else having problems with how dark the TGP is and the gain/brightness/contrast only works on the text?

I experienced a lot of the same issues with the TGP. I found having the targeting pod SOI on the MFD, if I move around the target, it doesn't seem to move on the HUD, so my CCRP target is constantly on the steerpoint (even though the targeting pod is point tracking a completely different area.) Making it impossible to attack a target NOT on the steerpoint. The ONLY way around this I've found so far is to make the HUD your SOI then you can move the CCRP target around. but its movement isn't as smooth as it would be if you slewed the target on the MFD as SOI.

Also, pressing TMS aft will snap the targeting point back to the original steerpoint coordinates, weather HUD is SOI or MFD is SOI.

I like that they're starting to implement moving the cursor without changing the Steerpoint, but at the moment I believe it's a little busted at the moment. Hopefully we'll get a quick hotfix for it

I´m nor sure what "Correct as is" means.

I can use the TGP on both the F/A-18 and AV-8B without any problems, but the F-16 TGP does not work for me as anticipated.

I cannot get the HUD target point to move with the TGP.

I set the TGP as SOI

Envoke Area-Track or Point-Track and can slew around, but the HUD target point remains fixed at the selected steerpoint.

I can set the HUD as SOI and slew the HUD target point around, but the TGP does not look at that spot.

If the TGP really works and is "Correct as is", then please someone make a video showing how to use it.
