Dr Zaius Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 That doesn't have rain droplets modelled on the canopy and that includes several free mods i’ve got downloaded such as the A4! Devrim Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 Don't be sorry Dr.Zaius. Even if those helicopters have rain droplets on windshields, wipers won't wipe drops. It's a terrible view, believe me. You have to gain speed as soon as possible or disable that feauture. :) Intel i7-14700@5.6GHz | MSI RTX4080 SuperSuprimX | Corsair V. 64GB@6400MHz. | Samsung 1TB 990 PRO SSD (Win10Homex64) Samsung G5 32" + Samsung 18" + 2x8"TFT Displays | TM Warthog Stick w/AVA Base | VPC MongoosT-50CM3 Throttle | TM MFD Cougars | Logitech G13, G230, G510, PZ55 & Farming Sim Panel | TIR5 & M.Quest3 VR >>MY MODS<< | Discord: Devrim#1068
Fri13 Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 Don't be sorry Dr.Zaius. Even if those helicopters have rain droplets on windshields, wipers won't wipe drops. It's a terrible view, believe me. You have to gain speed as soon as possible or disable that feauture. :) One day.... One day we get the working wipers and we get all the annoying stuff as well, like heavy rain, snow and especially undercooled water that will freeze on your windshield on the moment it hits it... Add there the dust and other stuff (bugs etc) and we can have a "perfect simulator". i7-8700k, 32GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 2x 2080S SLI 8GB, Oculus Rift S. i7-8700k, 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 1080Ti 11GB, 27" 4K, 65" HDR 4K.
Rainer_B. Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 Yes. Give us "The Day After Tomorrow" climate. Freezing fuel lines should be fun or a sandstorm (Syria and Persian Gulf) like "Flight of the Phoenix" No sandfilter for this machine Sir.
Dr Zaius Posted August 26, 2020 Author Posted August 26, 2020 I think mi8 doesn't either...or ka-50, but I'd have to fire it up to know for sure I went through the laborious task of testing each aircraft, its just the Gazelle :( For the record I'm not asking for the perfect simulation, just a little immersion :noexpression: System Specs: Intel Core i9-9900K 3.6GHz @ 4.8GHz, Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master, 32 GB G.Skill Trident Z DDR4-3600 RAM, GeForce GTX 4090, Crucial SSD (2TB), TrackIR 5, TM Throttle, VPC WarBRD Stick, TM T-Flight Rudder Pedals, Samsung 49” Odyssey G9

RuskyV Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 Well a few rain drops is not going to stop me from purchasing the Kiowa that’s for sure, and I have no problem with the devs or their attitude, unlike some of the forum members that frequent these threads.
notproplayer3 Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 (edited) Well a few rain drops is not going to stop me from purchasing the Kiowa that’s for sure, and I have no problem with the devs or their attitude, unlike some of the forum members that frequent these threads. Well, good for you then, I still don't like polychop's attitude to fixing bugs, it's especially visible when heading to their discord at times. Most other dcs devs handle things good but again, this is all just my opinion just like your comment is yours. Polychop promises some needed fixes yet they put the priority on the oh58d Kiowa, I don't find this to be the right choice and I'm sure some people agree with me. Dave317 Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 I asked about this feature a very long time ago and was told it was being developed but still nothing. The MI8 does have it.

Freezing fuel lines should be fun or a sandstorm (Syria and Persian Gulf) like "Flight of the Phoenix" No sandfilter for this machine Sir. A undercooled rain is not a rare phenomenon. It is nasty as in seconds does your windshield get frozen and your wipers can't do anything about it. And sandstorms.... I don't never want either experienced such.... And for same thing I say that I don't want to experience either the Locus swarm. i7-8700k, 32GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 2x 2080S SLI 8GB, Oculus Rift S. i7-8700k, 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 1080Ti 11GB, 27" 4K, 65" HDR 4K.

Hopefully this means something is imminent? :) You can be certain that the moment we are confident of a release date we will share it with the community. Right now the Kiowa is still very much in development and we stand by our decision to only release it when we think it is done in such an extent that the flight model is correct and all systems are functional and mission capable. That is not to say some features won't be expanded after release. We won't be playing games with hints towards an imminent release, we will in fact communicate the release window when we know we're getting close. :) Community Manager Account DrummerNL

Discord - Facebook - Gazelle sitreps[sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
