Davee Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 Title says it all. Incirlik ILS Rwy 23 111.70 not working ILS for Rwy 55 works fine. Thanks.
drPhibes Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 Works fine here: Check your wind settings. You need a headwind of approximately 7kts for the faulty runway direction logic (core DCS feature, not map related) to switch the ILS over from 05 to 23.

Davee Posted September 5, 2020 Author Posted September 5, 2020 Should be working, as mentioned Will depend on wind direction Thanks, I did have wind direction set for 23. But I see a previous poster indicating a minimal wind speed required? That is interesting.

Thanks, who would've thought wind speed would be required to set ILS.
Davee Posted September 5, 2020 Author Posted September 5, 2020 Should be working, as mentioned Will depend on wind direction Hi BN, Thanks again - my bad. Had the wind direction arrows reversed in the ME. Question: Were the wind direction arrows changed at some point? Cheers
Emmy Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 Surface wind direction indicator in the ME is, and has been for a long while, backwards. Nealius Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 There's still an issue of minimum speed. Even with wind direction set correctly, <7kts wind has the ILS off.
drPhibes Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 The minimum windspeed threshold for ILS interlock is a DCS issue, not not a map issue. ED have been aware of this for a long time and it will hopefully be fixed when the ATC system get an overhaul in the future.
