Personally, I will give ED the benefit of the doubt and I'm willing to believe them to be correct, if they say they actually have proof, but it's not the best way to gain the trust of your customers to hold it back.

 

Transparency is good,

but the problem is that they can't be transparent as much as we would like them to, the risk of being transparent in ED's case, the lawsuits, loss of their sources, loss of SMEs and loss of military partners outweighs the benefit of being transparent to customers,

so in my opinion they don't have to be transparent and I will give them the benefit of the doubt.

And so do I, as I do understand that there are legit reasons against transparency. I'm just saying it's not as reassuring than providing actual proof, but it is what it is.
