llOPPOTATOll Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Is it possible to slew the targeting pod around using the hmcs? In the manual it states " When a TMS-LEFT/LONG is used to slave the TGP to the HMCS LOS, it will jump into the TGP Track Mode (Area Track, Point Track, or Inertial Rates (INR)) selected via the TRK OSB (OSB 8 )." Am i misinterpreting this or is going to be like this in the A-10C II.
awjudge Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 It doesn't seem that you can slave the TGP to the HMCS so that it follows where you look, in real time. TMS Left Long will slave the TGP to the HMCS crosshair, but only when you press the button.

dorianR666 Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 (edited) dcs manual states that DMS Right Long causes "Slave TGP to HMCS Line of Sight". has anyone have any luck with it? for me it makes the TGP plane attitude stabilized the first time (not following HMS or ground stabilized), the consequent times it just flies around on its own in random directions. after i designate any SPI with any sensor, this function ceases to work completely. am i doing something wrong or is this WIP?
