  1. Try hitting '5' on the numeric keypad. It should recentre the view.
  2. It should be China Hat Forward long that slews the TGP to the SPI. In fact, technically CHFL will slew whichever sensor you have as SOI to the SPI.
  3. Yeah, that's precisely what's not working for me. It used to be my go-to for when I lost my SA, and had to get my bearings. It's odd.
  4. Thanks Ziptie, yeah I think I have those combinations down. What appears to be happening (and I can't figure out why) is that my SPI moves to Bullseye. Once it's there, even if I change my Steerpoint via the HUD as SOI, I can't do TMS Aft Long to move the SPI to the chosen steerpoint. I find myself having to hook the steerpoint on the TAD or HCMS and making it SPI with TMS Fwd long.
  5. They're listed under AG weapons, not Rockets.
  6. Playing one of the Instant Action missions on Caucuses, I don't seem to be able to set a Steerpoint as my SPI. It starts out that way, but after firing at a few targets, the TGP becomes my SOI and is generating my SPI. From there, if I set my Hud to SOI and do TMS Aft Long to set my SPI as Steerpoint, nothing happens. Have I missed something?
  7. This is how it works now. There is no boresight hotas control for the TGP. The best alternative is to put the TGP into STBY and back to AG. According to ED, this is working as in the real aircraft.
  8. It doesn't seem that you can slave the TGP to the HMCS so that it follows where you look, in real time. TMS Left Long will slave the TGP to the HMCS crosshair, but only when you press the button.
  9. Excellent, glad you got it sorted. In my experience, there's only 3 things that can mess with DCS servers. 1. Firewall on the machine running the server, 2. Port forwarding misconfigurations and 3. Carrier Grade NAT on the ISP end. Happy flying!
  10. Try reading. Use a different thread. This post is for patch notes discussion.
  11. Yes, the port forwarding isn't working, or there's a firewall on the machine running DCS. Can you post a screenshot of the port forward rule on your router?
  12. One other thing to check. Have a look at http://www.whatsmyip.org and take a note of your IP address. Make sure that's the same address you see on your Router under its WAN settings. The white window with the dedicated server is normal, it used to show a DCS splash page, but in the last few versions it seems just to be white. Not sure why. To configure the dedicated server you need to connect to it via the web interface on the server itself (localhost:8088 by default). This might be easier to troubleshoot via something like Discord. Where are you geographically? I could probably find some time to have a look at your setup, see if I can figure out what's wrong.
  13. Yeah, that's good advice too. One thing that I did think of, is everyone running the same version of DCS? Usually, the server browser won't let you connect to a server on a different version, but it might be worth sanity checking it.
  14. Post the dcs.log file from C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Logs
  15. I don't think this is true. The AG radar definitely doesn't work in the new Channel map.
  16. Apologies, didn't realise I was on-call... :noexpression: I think the DNS issue is a distraction and I don't think it's relevant to your issue. The thing we need to be 100% sure of is that your port forwarding rules are working correctly. I would usually use canyouseeme.org to test that, but if you have issues with it, there are lots of other options. Try https://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ for example. Until we can confirm that the port forwarding is working, and there is no firewall between the router and your DCS server, then all bets are off for the time being.
  17. When you connect to the server, are you using your public IP address, or the address of the PC running SRS on your network?
  18. Can you try an nslookup on http://www.canyouseeme.org? From a command prompt type: nslookup http://www.canyouseeme.org Please post your result here. Something weird is happening with your DNS I suspect.
  19. With the server running, does http://www.canyouseeme.org show that port 10308 is open?
  20. Best go back to Stable, rather than Open Beta. It will take them a while to fix 2.5.6, as they have said several times.
  21. I'd recommend going back to Stable (2.5.5) if FPS are an issue for you. They've clearly stated that they're working on performance in the Open Beta. For now, you'll either have to be patient, or roll back to Stable.
  22. If you’re using Steam, they pulled the update. If you’re on Standalone, you’ll need to run scs_updater.exe update from the dcs\bin folder.
  23. Have you tried deleting your fxo and Metashaders folders in your Saved Games/DCS folder?
  24. I'm getting the same errors when trying to use dcsbios.h and FTOLED.h (a library for a 1.5 inch OLED screen I have) It seems to be something to do with Serial being defined twice, but I'm not sure how to resolve it. Just posting here to get in the loop, see if we can figure this out.
  25. Ok, I have this fixed, I was misunderstanding what the documentation was saying. For reference, if anyone else comes across this, adding the LUA to Export.lua does work, but you won't see a connection to the game until you're in the pit of an aircraft.
