This has been asked and answered a lot .. in my opinion Steam is more convenient, with faster downloads and easier integrity checking ... but 30% of my dollar purchase goes to Steam and only 70% to the actual developer, so I prefer purchasing at ED and only use Steam when the price difference (due to foreign exchange rates) is too great to ignore :)

For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra

For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar

Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB

I for one prefer the standalone version, although I own a lot of games on Steam. As Rudel says, 100% of the money goes to devs when you're using the standalone version.

I have my modules purchased on the website. Can I download the Steam version and play the modules I purchased on the website via my linked account?

No Only steam to ED account. Not the other way around.

thanks
