MacEwan Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 The new HOTAS table shows that Left Throttle Button Long executes an Image Capture. I didn't pay attention in the original A10C if it's the same but in any case, anyone know what this function does?
AvroLanc Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 Saves a still image from the TGP. It can then be sent as part of a message to another unit on the datalink. Either back to the JTAC for target confirmation, or as a FAC(A) to another A10 etc for directing a CAS mission. I don't think we'll see it implemented. But it would be awesome.
Emmy Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 (edited) Perhaps it's something that allows us to pass an image via SADL? gachatar Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 You use it to take a selfie with the TGP and send it to your cute wingwoman through the datalink.
Snoopy Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 Perhaps it's something that allows us to pass an image via SADL? What that is for in the real jet is to take a picture of what's in the right MFCD by default and then you can message it through the message page. You can take a picture of the left MFCD as well but it must be SOI. I don't expect that we'll actually get that feature but it would be awesome in MP!! v303d Fighter Group Discord | Virtual 303d Fighter Group Website
