Help Starting on Carrier

Alright let me get to the point, I have been getting kind of bored of the basic missions were you take out a couple enemies and land on an airport, but I want to do the whole cold start aircraft carrier start. The thing is that DCS obviously hates me because every time I start, I always are in the air and never on the carrier. I have tried takeoff on ramp, takeoff on runway, landing, client, player, but nothing works. It works on the AI, but not the player. I have searched hours over the internet to try and figure out how to do it, it still doesn't work. FYI I am trying to attempt this with the F-14, I do not use the supercarrier DLC.

Just to make sure, are you using the Stennis as aircraft carrier?

Just make sure you only fly those who don't use the Supercarrier. Usually it's mentioned in the description.

No, I was using the George Washington Class. It's the carrier that I saw in a video being used, but I could try the Stennis

That is a Supercarrier's ... the only free Carrier that you can use is the Stennis.
