104th_Crunch Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 I thought that this was too cool not to share with those that don't know... You can refuel without holding on to the Ctl+r key the whole time. Simply press Crt+r+m. The chat window will pop up and you will continue to refuel! Press Crl+m to remove the chat window and refuel will still continue. You can also press other keys like Ctl+w to reload while refuelling is taking place. Once you top up refuelling will stop. Just don't take off while you're refuelling like this unless you cancel refuelling by pressing Ctl+r or else you'll dump fuel in the air. You can program the whole sequence to a macro key, CH Throttle, programable keyboard, etc. and then be able to refuel with 1 key stroke. Now while you're refuelling you can grab a beer, hit the can or whatever else you need to do. :pilotfly: 2
Joe Kurr Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 In my experiment to control Lockon via a PDA (See tech section) I made a "Refuel ON" and "Refuel OFF" button :) Did the same for brakes and "Fire weapon", although I never got to test the latter. Worked pretty well :) Dutch Flanker Display Team | LLTM 2010 Tiger Spirit Award
nscode Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 Or just go to options and assign it to your preference :) Never forget that World War III was not Cold for most of us.
Breakshot Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 Yeah.. another simple solution is just to create a sticky key, in CH or Foxy programming... works like a charm! Good find though! Tim "Breakshot" Mytrofanov | C.O. of 51 ПВО / 100 КИАП Regiments | twitch.tv/51breakshot
