[REPORTED]Refuelling / Rearming operation issues.

Hello,

After the latest update I encounter refueling/rearming problems with the Su-33 and MIG-29 aircrafts (which I tested so far). Immediately after respawn the refueling / rearming is working as it should, but after taking off, flying a while, and landing on the spawning airport, other airport, carrier, the refueling / rearming will not work anymore.

This is occurring both in multiplayer or my missions, and before you ask, I always perform this operation with engines off, canopy open, etc.

Repairing the game files didn't solve the problem.

I am playing on Caucasus map, not having a explanatory track but I am about to have one and send / upload it here. Random airports, doesn't matter!

This is a widespread issue as everyone on my server currently running Caucasus is having the same issue.

I also just tested this on Persian Gulf and again, can't rearm or refuel after taking off in the Su33, Su-27, MiG 29S and F-15.

This is affecting stable version and our ability to complete missions..

I'm not able to reproduce your issue. I've just tested the following aircraft on different Caucasus airfields (current OB/stable 2.5.6.55960):

Su-25T

A-10A

Su-27

Su-33

MiG-29A

F-15C

I took off from runway, and flew a loop. I flew a bit further with the F-15C. After aircraft had landed, canopy was opened and engines were completely shut down, I was able to rearm.

Hi Flappie,

The issue occurs when landing at a different runway to the one you had taken off from.

Thanks,

Is the airport coalition set to your color? (red or blue) Neutral fields won't necessarily respond

to REA/REF requests. You don't have to shut down or open canopy either. You can do

a hot REA/REF just make sure that the airfield or FARP is the same coalition and make sure

that you are using the proper radio channel or intercom.

For some of the aircraft mentioned above, you need to cut off engines and open the canopy (I believe all FC3 aircraft need this). I'm sure about it because I tested it yesterday.

Hey, the issue is only present in the latest version of DCS, it is affecting both OpenBeta and Release version, have them installed and tried on both. The canopy is open, engines off, not working on the latest version no matter what I do.

Yep, I'm aware of that and tried all the mentioned advice and still many people are reporting the same issue including myself.

I suggest you try taking off from any runway with any FC3 low fidelity aircraft and land at another runway. You will not be able to re-arm, re-fuel or repair as you will not get a "Copy" indication back from the ground crew.

Yes, this is exactly what I am experiencing, and Flappie, I cannot upload the .trk because it is larger than 5 MB, you need to fly a while and land on a different airport before you encounter the bug.

If you have the latest updates installed for your DCS version, and take your SU-33 (for example) to another airport, the bug will be there. You ask for rearming/refueling and the ground crew will not answer back, and the operation will not start.

At least now I know to not re-install the game, because the bug is affecting multiple players.

Well, that's not what you said initially:

Immediately after respawn the refueling / rearming is working as it should, but after taking off, flying a while, and landing on the spawning airport, other airport, carrier, the refueling / rearming will not work anymore.
(and I spent an hour trying to reproduce the bug on the spawning airfield doh.gif)

I'll make a track of a Batumi-Senaki this evening.

I've encountered the bug, "at last" if I may say so. Here's what I did:

Took off hot from Gelendzhik with a Su-27

Landed at Sukhumi

Parked and asked for refuel and rearm

Refueled OK

Rearmed OK

Took off from Sukhumi

Called Gelendzhik for inbound, got a response, then was asked to "contact the tower"

Called tower for landing: no response (?)

Landed at Gelendzhik

Parked and asked for refuel and rearm: no response.

Moved to another parking spot and tried again: no response.

Here's a track and a video (forgive my poor Su-27 skills, I've been ignoring her for years).

changed video link (video was too long for YouTube)

Thank you for confirming this, at least now I am sure I do not have to re-install the game! And sorry for the misguidance I provided, was unintentional!
