I'm not sure if this has been reported or if it happens with other weapons. I normally setup my profiles before take off. I've noticed that my GBU-12 profile even though I've been sure to save it always reverts back to the default profile at some point after I save it but before I get into combat. I always set it to the same thing. I change it from CCIP to CCRP and set an auto laze for 10 seconds. When I go to use the GBU-12 I find it back in CCIP with no auto laze. I then have to setup my profile again.

Are you using the manual "M/" profile? Often users will select by the OSBs on the DSMS format which results in using the manual profile which initializes to the profile defaults and does not save any options when deselected and reselected.

To use the normal profiles which allow persistent saved settings you must select the normal profiles on the PROF page or hands on by HUD SOI and DMS left/right in master modes NAV/CCIP/CCRP.

^^ this ^^ is where I suspect your issue is coming from OP. As this member stated, ensure that you are selecting the GBU-12 either from the DSMS PROF page or via master mode select button on the HOTAS to CCRP, then ensuring your HUD is SOI and then using DMS left/right to select the GBU-12 profile.

if you prefer weapon selection from the mfds, you could also simply select the weapon by selecting the profile from the profile page instead of dsms main page. this should then have the same effect as selecting it from the hud/hotas and profiles should work correctly.

Others already answered but that likely is your issue. If you get M/ in front of the name of the selected weapon in the center of MFD, you're using manual and the profile you set will not be used.

By the way, this is different issue but how do you get Mavericks to alternate stations? When I have same mavericks on both sides, it always uses the right side ones first. It does alternate on other bombs and rockets but not for Mavericks.

Keep cycling DMS with HUD SOI. If you have multiple weapon configurations under the same profile it will select the next config with the same profile. E.g. if you have 2 MK-82 with different fuzes they won't be selected at the same time.

After firing one maverick, deselect the station that it just fired from and it will keep the other station selected - the next weapon release will be from the opposite side - then repeat. That is what I do if I carry two mavericks on each station, but I rarely do that anymore. That should do the trick for you.
