Thanks for the link. It'd be nice if that fix could be integrated in the source and a new release be made? I've made the change myself and it seems to fix loading the SuperBug but then apparently on other servers (like Grayflag) using the Anubis mod, the C130 is replaced by the Su-27 image (which I think is usually the sign of "you don't have the mod correctly installed")

This hotfix was created by SkateZilla from the CJS Superhornet Dev Team. He only did it because a lot of the superhornet users ran into this issue and reported it on the discord server of CJS. Maybe someone who is (or feels) responsible for the Hercules mod should officially implement it.
The problem with the Mulitplayer servers is, that with this hotfix your version of the Hercules mod isn't the same as that on the server anymore. So the server doesn't recognizes your mod correctly. To solve this issue the server owner has to implement the hotfix into the Hercules mod on the server, too.

Thanks for the info. I'm not sure if the original mods author still read this forum but my request was to their intention.

I can point my server admins to the hotfix but I guess they're unlikely to apply it since that would means all clients would then still need to apply it as well, and it's unlikely to happen unless there's a release to be made...

To my knowledge the original community module developer is busy making an official module of it, so don't expect the community one to ever be updated.

Here's a mission based on the C-130 Hercules aircraft carrier trials on Oct 10, 1963. You will be attempting takeoffs and landings at various weights. Takeoffs will be without catapult  assist. Landings will be without a tailhook. You should map controls (perhaps airbrakes controls) for "Throttles Beta Reverse" and "Throttles Flight to Beta Full Reverse".

Or you can pretend to be the stunt pilot for JAG Season 9 Episode 5 "Touchdown".

For simplicity, the Forrestal is headed due north at flank speed to give you a headwind.

Records indicated 40knot winds that day. You can use the mission editor to change the direction or disable the winds under the weather options.

The readme.txt includes the instructions to make the Anubis C-130 mod aircraft carrier capable.

It also includes instructions to fix the CJS SuperHornet compatibility issue with recent DCS 2.9
