Hi; is it a known bug that replays do not play correctly if triggers are set at the start?

I have a couple of missions scripted where, at the start, the gear is triggered down, HUD brightness down, flaps down, hook down. The mission is flown properly, track saved - but when watched in the replay, it's not replayed at all as flown and the gear/flaps etc are not down at the start, as they were in the mission when flown.

If I remove the triggers, fly it, save the track and watch it, the flight is replayed exactly as flown.

This in the F18, haven't tried it in other types yet.

EDIT: Tested and same thing occurs with F16 too.

Hi, sorry for the delay, hadn't seen this reply.

Track files are attached and are as follows (excuse the crappy landing attempts, that's not what it's about)

f18-carrier-no-triggers.trk : on finals to carrier, flaps/gear/hook etc up at mission start, and toggled by user. Replay shows as mission flown.

f18-carrier-triggers.trk : on finals to carrier, flaps/gear/hook/hud bri down / switched DOWN in ME - but when viewed in replay, gear/hook are UP/HUD bri normal but flaps down, and aircraft does not replay as the mission was flown. Basically it just flies until it stalls, as if there were no user input whatsoever.

Thank you. I was able to reproduce your issue. 👍

  1. I replayed the "triggers" track and saw nothing happen (gear up during the whole flight),
  2. I renamed the "triggers" track to "transform" it into a mission (.miz), played the mission and saw gear getting out right away.
